Our client, a prestigious city banking brand is seeking an experience banking candidate to join their Core Client Service team. Being the main specialist team to deal any inbound inquiry, query / question from customers, you are responsible for them to experience a 1st class service from the bank. Our client has a stable employee base of around 180 staff and has been siutauted in the UK for over 50 years. A banking background is essentialy as is having 10/10 speaking and writing skills in English please. This role is not hybrid and requires 5 days in the City office (Bank/Moorgate/Liverpool street all are within walking distance)

  • To aid & support both branches and customers offering them a 1st class banking service and experience assisting them with their daily banking tasks and queries.
  • Liaising with clients over the phone/email about their account queries and requests including processing payment requests, checking balances, maturity of deposits, transaction(s) information required by the bank for compliance monitoring, and making deals with treasury for the client's remittance.
  • Telephone support to business clients for their business profiles and services already executed.
  • Payment transfer requests processing, call back processing for requests sent either by fax, e-mail, phone, in person. (SWIFT / CHAPS / BACS)
  • Liaising with other departments, account maintenance issues (web login/secure key/dormancy lift/changes to account etc), Treasury front office, for deals taking place for clients, back office for time / e-deposit issues, new Term deposits, maturity & breaking deposits also, Account Opening, On-boarding new customers along with the bank's policy with documents / forms required.
  • MIS: Maintain the customer service query log / Tracker, update MIS and adhoc data analysis as and when required.
