The Data Assurance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of asset and compliance data, supporting strategic decision-making and compliance programmes. The role involves managing data systems, developing assurance processes, and producing reports for senior management and regulatory bodies. The coordinator will collaborate with teams to ensure data meets operational needs and supports compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and IT skills, attention to detail, and experience in data management, particularly within the housing sector. The role also involves promoting organisational values and ensuring efficient, cost-effective processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain asset and compliance data systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • Develop and implement data assurance processes and compliance programmes.

  • Produce schedules for inspections, servicing, and works, and generate reports for senior management.

  • Collaborate with teams to ensure data supports operational and compliance needs.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote organisational values.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Degree/diploma or equivalent in a relevant field.

  • Strong analytical and IT skills, including proficiency with asset management software.

  • Experience in data management, preferably within the housing sector.

  • Knowledge of compliance requirements for social housing.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.

  • Ability to translate legislation into working practices and review policies.

  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
