My client in Somerset is looking to appoint a talented Data Scientist (Gen AI) on a Contract basis.
This role will leverage Azure OpenAI Studio to develop and integrate AI models that can process various pieces of text, rationalize the data, and produce a consolidated draft output.
About the role:
Based in Somerset (Remote):
- Develop and deploy Generative AI models using Azure OpenAI Studio.
- Integrate AI models into Python notebooks in Azure Synapse or Microsoft Fabric.
- Collaborate with data engineers and other key colleagues across the organization to ensure project success.
- Support junior data scientists by providing guidance, mentorship, and training.
About you:
You will have the following experiences:
- Strong background in Python and SQL.
- Proficiency in using Azure OpenAI Studio for Generative AI model development.
- Experience with Azure Synapse or Microsoft Fabric for integrating AI models into Python notebooks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Local Authority / Public Sector experience is highly desired.
What's on offer:
- Salary: 450+ per day, inside IR35
*negotiable based on experience
