Our client is looking for a Data & Reporting Work Stream Lead to oversee the migration and transformation of data from their legacy Oracle ERP (EBS) platform to a new cloud-based Oracle (Fusion) platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the data migration process, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. They will also become the project workstream lead on the implementation of future reporting solutions utilising Oracle cloud technology. Key Responsibilities:Data Migration:- Lead the work stream for the end-to-end data migration and transformation from the legacy Oracle ERP to the cloud-based Oracle platform. This will include the creation and approval of the data migration strategy for transition both our ERP and Duties Management (and peripheral corporate) solutions.- Data Cleansing in conjunction with BAU will also need to form part of this strategy and delivery.- Identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration and ensure data integrity throughout the process.- Working closely with Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Data Office in delivering the above activity Reporting:- Lead the delivery of reporting, transition from legacy solutions on the future state Oracle architecture- Develop and manage project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure successful migration and ensure all dependencies are known, clear and communicated. Data Architecture & Archiving:- Defining and approval of the data architecture of the data assets throughout their lifecycle (across multiple systems).- Working closely with MPS Digital, Data and Technology and MBS Workstreams to ensure delivery of the agreed architecture- Defining the archiving strategy of systems and data to support the transition to new technology aligned to MPS retention policies Qualifications & Experience:- Proven experience in leading data migration projects, particularly with Oracle ERP systems and/or other duties management solutions.- Understanding of data management methodologies e.g. DCAM and DCAF- Equipped with strong project management tools –risks, issues and dependencies (dependency management being critical in tech delivery with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
