Data Administrator – Temp 2-3 months - £16.00 per hour – London/HybridConstruction company is seeking an experienced Data Administrator to support their Document Control team at their London offices. This is a temporary role to start ASAP for an initial 2-3 month period and will pay up to £16.00 per hour. The role will be hybrid, working 2 days at their offices close to Farringdon, London.The main purpose of the Data Administrator will be to support with a data migration project. Key responsibilities will include:
  • Document Upload & Management: Upload design documents, comments, attachments, and markups to the system
  • Workflow Processing: Initiate and complete document workflows, ensuring correct status updates based on the legacy system
  • File Handling: Extract and upload individual files from combined PDF documents into the relevant sections of the new system
  • Document Classification: Recognize and categorize different types of design documentation, such as drawings, technical submissions, sample submittals, and RFIs.
  • Data Accuracy: Read and interpret drawing numbers, revision codes, and approval statuses
  • Quality Control: Ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures by maintaining high attention to detail.
The ideal Data Administrator will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:
  • Previous data administration experience, ideally in a document control or construction environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and SharePoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation accurately.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude, with a willingness to learn.
  • Experience with using Aconex or Asite is beneficial but not essential (training provided).
