We are working closely with a large and growing financial services company based in London to recruit for a Data Governance Manager on a full time permanent basis.
This is a new position for the company so has the opportunity for somebody to come in and really shape the role and make a difference within the company. The purpose of the role is to delivery unified data governance framework for both transformation and BAU.
Key Responsibilities for the Data Governance Manager:
- Working across both UK & International teams to standardise ways of working.
- Working on people, process and technical changes to build data culture within the business.
- Define data ownership and stewardship and defining responsibility within the company
- Data cataloguing, labels and sensitivity prioritisation
- Developing policies and standards to reflect the companies values towards data
Key Skills for the Data Governance Manager:
- Experience with Purview (or similar)
- Experience with Data Governance within a regulated environment
- Essential that you have the ability to collaborate and influence successfully with a variety of teams
- Experience Leading & Defining framework ideally, or somebody who has a high level of experience maintaining framework looking for a step up
