I'm excited to present an opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Scout to join our client's dynamic Data team. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment where data plays a crucial role in providing a competitive edge.THE COMPANY:They are an investment management firm based in the UK, authorised and regulated by the FCA. The firm is also registered with several financial authorities in the US and is a member of the National Futures Association (NFA). Their team operates globally, with offices globally and over 200 employees.

The firm is committed to delivering consistent long-term returns for their investors, working within a well-defined risk framework. They focus on various investment strategies in both developed and emerging markets.THE ROLE:They are seeking an experienced Data Scout to enhance their foundational data practices, policies, and platforms. This role involves direct interaction and relationship-building with front office, technology teams, and key data consumers, serving as a content and subject-matter expert. You will steer stakeholders towards the added value of enhanced data capabilities, with exposure to a wide variety of data types used in alpha-generation across multiple asset classes.YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:The ideal Data Content Specialist will have:

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data in the context of investment research.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions based on data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
