Senior Data Engineer (SQL ETL GCP BigQuery) to £110k
Are you a Data Engineer with experience of working with petabytes of data using SQL and Big Query on GCP? You could be progressing your career in a senor, hands-on role at one of Europe's most successful streaming and social media platforms whilst enjoying a range of perks and benefits including remote, flexible working.
As a Data Engineer you will be instrumental in a small, diverse, highly talented team that manage a large scale Data Warehouse / user-centric data insights platform including the relevant data models, data pipelines, tooling and frameworks to provide self service analytics.
You'll be working with petabytes of data, guaranteeing high quality via monitoring and quality checks and collaborating with a range of stakeholders across the global business to provide the data solutions they need.
Location / WFH:
You'll be able to work from home / remotely fulltime, with the caveat that'll join the team in London once a month, there's a lot of flexibility, you may prefer to go in more often, the offices are seriously cool and offer a sociable environment with a range of perks and experiences.
About you:
- You have strong data engineering experience, including experience of working with petabytes of data in enterprise scale Data Warehouses
- You have an advanced knowledge of SQL and BigQuery including building ETL / ELT pipelines
- You have Python coding skills and are familiar with Airflow
- You have a good knowledge of Cloud environments, GCP preferred
- You're collaborative and have great English language communication skills (German would also be nice to have but the company will pay for language courses if you'd like to learn)
