Responsibilities

As a Lead Data Engineer, you will:

  • Continue the development of a Snowflake-based cloud data warehouse within a well-established framework.
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, including operational and financial leaders, to ensure the architecture supports scalability and flexibility.
  • Design robust data flows and establish quality assurance processes for data ingestion, transformation, and testing.
  • Create detailed system documentation and notes to maintain clarity and support for the data environment.
  • Potentially take on team leadership responsibilities by managing junior developers as the team grows.
Experience

The ideal candidate will have: Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in Snowflake, Python, SQL, Git, and data modeling.
  • Strong ability to build and refine data architecture.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with Power Automate and Azure infrastructure (e.g., App registration, storage accounts).
  • Experience with tools like Terraform (Snowflake provider), DBT, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • A track record of working on greenfield projects and managing junior developers.
