THE COMPANY
We are currently working with a fast-growing, customer-focused real estate investment company. This is a global company which specialises in institutional residential sectors, including student housing and multi-family apartment buildings. They are looking for a lead data engineer to join their team and play a pivotal role in shaping the companies' data infrastructure. You'll be instrumental in leveraging data to enhance responsiveness to market dynamics and support the companies growth.
THIS ROLE
As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be…
- Leading and inspiring a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Designing and implementing scalable data infrastructure on GCP
- Collaborating with domain experts to generate actionable insights
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful Lead Data Engineer, will have the following skills and experience:
- Proficient in Python, SQL, with a working knowledge of Javascript
- Experience with GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, and other modern data tools
- A strong background in building robust, scalable data pipelines and cloud infrastructure
- Ability to apply AI/ML tools to enhance data engineering processes and insights
- A minimum of 4 years experience as a senior data engineer
- A masters degree in a STEM subject
