Leasehold Administration Officer

Salary: 35k per annum

Location: Brockley, South London

Our housing client need an Administration Officerto assist in providing service charge support to their Leasehold Management team.

Duties:

  • Apply all functions for the setting of service charges.
  • Carry out all transactions on the relevant area database for change of leaseholder, transfer of funds and updating new leaseholder details.
  • Maintain all existing filing systems and set up new systems as appropriate. Ensure that all filing is carried out effectively both electronic and paper files.
  • Collect and report on statistical information in relation to the work of the department.
  • Respond to solicitor enquires and update and send out all pre-assignment packs.
  • Respond to queries regarding Income Recovery of service charge and major work bills.
  • Maintain records of all properties, leasehold or freehold managed by the leasehold department.
  • Enforcing Lease Conditions and Covenants.
  • Collate residential information and send to the relevant Local Authority.
  • Resolving service charge disputes.
  • Occasionally attend evening meetings and take minutes as required.
  • Answer telephone calls, deal with day-to-day queries, record messages and relay them promptly and accurately.
  • Photocopy and distribute information as requested.
  • Frank the mail ready for collection or take to post office.
  • Other general administration duties as required.
