Area Business Manager - Sports/Fitness Tuition - Southeast London/Remote/Hybrid
Up to £45,000 + 10% bonus + all travel + benefits.
We are looking for an Area Business Manager to oversee the operational and commercial success of 5+ learn to swim venues rented across Southeast London, whilst striving to grow the region through business development and bringing on board new pool partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in growing a similar multi-site consumer business (E.g. fitness, gym, sports tuition, education, childcare) as a business leader, possibly as an Area Manager, Regional Manager, Contract Manager, Partnership Manager, Business Manager or Cluster Manager, or have significant management experience as Health Club Manager, Sports Centre Manager, General Manager, Aquatics Manager, Sport & Activities Manager or Swimming Development Manager and is looking to step-up.
You DO NOT have to be a qualified swimming teacher to fulfil the requirements or be considered for this role, but you must undergo their instructor course training as part of your induction and appreciate the benefits of learning to swim/water confidence.
Benefits Include:
- Starting salary of up to £45,000 with opportunity to increase this as the region and revenue grows.
- 10% annual bonus based on achieving budgeted revenue.
- All travel expenses paid.
- Working from home up to 3 days week, visiting sites/colleagues/partners from 2-days week.
- 37-hour working week with flexible working (Note; being on call/working some weekends will be required).
- Up to 6 weeks training, including completing courses in swimming product, pool plant operations, health and safety; spending time at Head Office with key senior team leaders, shadowing other regions, spending time with your team and clients.
