Business Development Facilities Manager, National,  to £45-55k plus car and full benefits package

Our client, a global property and facilities management company, are recruiting a Business Development Facilities Manager to source, tender, win, mobilize and manage new FM contracts in the demised retail sector.

Our client already delivers total facilities services to multiple shopping centres and retail parks across the country. This new role has been created to win new FM business, direct with the tenants of the centres - the demised shops, department stores and outlets within.

Total FM services provided include cleaning, security, mailroom, grounds and M&E maintenance. These are all delivered through subcontractors/ service partners - so there are no employees reporting directly into this role. Rather you will foster strong relationships with the various sub-contract managers and ensure they meet your service level agreements and exceed your clients' expectations.

Responsibilities also include ensuring client properties are compliant to HSE legislation. A recognised H&S qualification is required.

Exceptional communication skills will be required to develop strong relationships with clients and sub-contractors alike.

Relevant commercial FM contract management experience is essential as is a flair for business development.
