Henry Martin are assisting our client, a well established family run company, in their search for an experienced document controller based on site in West London. Our client is seeking an individual to join the team and help manage the flow of important project documentation.

As a Document Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring that all project documentation is properly managed, stored, and distributed across the team. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and facilitating the smooth exchange of documents between various departments and external stakeholders.

Familiarity with 4Projects (Viewpoint) is advantageous, as it will be a key tool used in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain all project documentation, including drawings, contracts, and correspondence
  • Ensure that all documents are stored in an organized and accessible manner
  • Distribute documents to the relevant team members, clients, and subcontractors as required
  • Track document versions and ensure timely updates and revisions
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure all documentation is compliant with company and project standards
  • Provide support and training to team members on document management processes
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and document control procedures
