**Job Title:** Retail Door Person - Luxury Store **Location:** London (Greater London applicants only) **Position Type:** Full-time, 42.5 hours per week
**About the Role** We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Door Person to join our high-end retail team at our flagship store in Central London. This is an exceptional opportunity to be the face of our store, welcoming clients and ensuring their experience is both secure and memorable. Your presence will play a crucial role in maintaining the security of our high-value inventory and ensuring a warm, inviting atmosphere for all visitors.
**Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver outstanding customer service, greeting every customer warmly and opening the door for their arrival and departure. - Maintain a constant presence at the store entrance to deter theft and ensure a safe shopping environment. - Assist customers as needed, including carrying purchases to their cars or offering umbrellas in inclement weather. - Conduct regular store patrols to monitor security risks and address any concerns. - Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, following established procedures. - Assist in the apprehension of shoplifters when required and liaise with law enforcement, providing detailed incident reports. - Support the Store Manager in developing and implementing effective security measures.
**Key Qualifications:** - Previous experience in a Door Person or security role within a high-end retail or luxury hotel setting. - Exceptional observational skills with a keen attention to detail. - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a friendly yet professional demeanor. - Ability to remain calm, composed, and proactive in high-pressure situations. - Physical fitness to perform patrols and stand for extended periods. - Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures is a plus. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
