1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA) - Year 3Location: WestminsterContract: Full-time Start Date: January 2025Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and nurturing 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA) with strong behaviour management skills to support a challenging Year 3 child. This role requires the ability to work at lower KS2 level.Key Responsibilities
- 1:1 Support: Provide tailored support to a Year 3 child, starting with one hour a day and increasing over time.
- Behaviour Management: Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support the child's learning and development.
- Nurturing Approach: Foster a supportive and encouraging environment to help the child thrive.
- Collaborative Planning: Work closely with teachers and other staff to plan and deliver appropriate interventions.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a primary school setting, particularly in KS2.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- A nurturing and patient approach to supporting the child's individual needs.
- The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff.
- Flexibility to adapt to the child's evolving timetable and needs.
