SEN Teaching Assistant | Year 1 ASD Support | Haringey, N15| £90 - £105 per day | Long-Term to Permanent

Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Haringey, N15, seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil with Autism (ASD). This is a long-term opportunity for a compassionate and proactive individual who can provide tailored support to help the pupil thrive academically and socially.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD, helping them engage with learning

  • Assist with personal care if required

  • Experience working with children with Autism, ideally in an educational setting
  • Confidence using visual aids and structured learning techniques
  • A calm and patient approach to supporting young learners
  • A relevant teaching assistant qualification or degree in psychology/education (desirable but not essential)
