About the role

We are seeking two Behavioural Teaching Assistantsto support children between the ages 11 and 18 at our specialist SEMH school in Camden. Our students all have social, emotional and mental health difficulties and many also have learning difficulties.

Our Behavioural Teaching Assistants are an integral part of our team and vital in the support for our students to make progress across both their academic achievements and their social and emotional development. You will support our students to stay on task in the classroom, reinforce boundaries and behavioural expectations and support our students out of the classroom with their emotional regulation as and when is required.

This role is not without its challenges, however no two days will ever be the same. We are a close-knit, supportive team who work together and are passionate about making a difference to the lives of students who are at risk of falling behind.

Person Specification -Behavioural Teaching Assistant:

MUST have an enhanced child and adult DBS check

Experience of working with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour

Experience supporting children within a school setting is desirable
