Responsibilities as an EYFS Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide 1:1 support for two pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage, including one non-verbal autistic child.

  • Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment to build confidence and encourage social interaction.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the school's SENCO to ensure the best outcomes for each pupil.

What we're looking for in an EYFS Teaching Assistant:

  • While a Level 3 childcare qualification is preferred, it's not essential.
  • Prior experience in SEN settings is a significant advantage.
