As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students, making a positive impact on their educational journey.
Job Description:
- Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons, providing one-on-one and small group support to students.
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering a sense of belonging and motivation among students.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Support classroom management and behaviour management strategies, ensuring a safe and respectful learning atmosphere.
- Prepare teaching resources and materials, catering to the specific needs of students and lesson objectives.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers and other staff members, promoting a cohesive and supportive educational environment.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., English).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with students of different ages and backgrounds.
- Passion for education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on student's lives.
- Patience, adaptability, and the ability to build rapport and trust with students.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
