Veritas Education work with a variety of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across London and the surrounding areas, providing high-quality teachers and support staff for long-term, short-term, permanent, and daily supply roles. We partner with state, private, and independent schools, building strong, trusted relationships with our clients.

We are currently looking for strong GraduateTeaching Assistants for primary and secondary schools across West London for roles beginning asap. Roles are full time, long term, term-time only (8.30am-4pm).

Responsibilities for Graduate Teaching Assistant include:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and supporting classroom learning.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, including those with SEN, helping to reinforce learning.
  • Support the development of students' academic skills (including literacy and numeracy) and personal development, fostering social and emotional growth.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Prepare and organize teaching resources to support lesson delivery and student engagement.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to track student progress and implement learning strategies.

About you:

  • Educated to degree level in any subject area
  • Have previous experience within a school or other child related experience.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and a professional and friendly approach.
  • Have knowledge and experience supporting children within special educational needs.
  • School based experience preferred but not essential.

Ideally you will already have some experience working with young people, or you may be considering furthering your career in education as a teacher (desirable but not essential). Maybe you are taking a year out before doing your Masters or a PGCE?
