The Role:- Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant.
- Salary: £80-£100 per day, based on experience.
- Location: Waltham Forest, East London.
- Start Date: Immediate.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons, work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils needing additional help, and assist children with SEN and behavioural needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils in KS1 and KS2.
- Assist in delivering engaging and structured lessons.
- Support children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.
- Help with behaviour management and create a positive learning environment.
- Gain experience with classroom strategies and interventions used to support different learning needs.
- A Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, or related graduate.
- A passion for child development, learning, and inclusive education.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a school environment.
- An interest in pursuing a PGCE, teacher training, or educational psychology in the future.
- Valuable Pre-Teaching Experience - Gain classroom skills before starting a PGCE or teacher training course.
- Supportive School Environment - Work with experienced teachers and SEN specialists who will mentor you.
