This role is perfect for those who are wanting to work part time, and still have the chance to have a great work-life balance.

This Nursery Teaching Assistant role will be full time 5 days per week, which will be covering maternity cover. This is due to start as soon as possible for the full academic year.

This Teaching Assistant role will include:

  • Supporting the Class Teacher and children in Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Assisting with the delivery of the National Curriculum in a Primary School setting
  • Preparing resources and helping to create a safe and engaging learning environment
  • Supporting children's individual needs to ensure their progress and well-being
  • Working closely with the TA team to provide targeted support to students

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant Role:

  • Previous experience as a Nursery Teaching Assistant or TA in a UK Primary School
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum, EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare or teaching assistance
  • Strong ability to support the Class Teacher in managing classroom activities
  • Commitment to ensuring a positive work-life balance
