The role - SEMH Teaching assistant - Lambeth

There will be a lot of classroom-based work in this role that will mainly involve supporting a small number of students who have social, emotional and mental health needs. A SEMH Teaching Assistant is responsible for assisting students in a variety of subjects, including their core subjects as well as non-core subjects. Your support may need to extend outside the classroom at times, and you may be expected to do so at times. This could be through interventions. In both the classroom and outside of the classroom, you will be supporting students in their learning process. The SEMH Teaching Assistant for this role will be responsible for running or supporting interventions that are based around the individual's needs.
