We are seeking dedicated individuals to become Learning Support Assistants at our primary school catering to pupils with complex needs including autism, social communication difficulties, downs syndrome and other learning difficulties.

This role would be suitable for someone with a warm and friendly demeanour, with Early Years or KS1 School experience, who is proactive and flexible while remaining calm under pressure.

· Supporting children 1-1 and/or small group work
· Daily duties involve manual handling, personal care and using Team Teach strategies
· Supporting the class teacher
· ASAP Start
· Long term contract
· £95 - £105 per day (depending on experience)

Person Specification - Learning Support Assistant
· Experience with SEN
· Prior experience working with children
· Proficient numeracy and literacy skills
· GCSE C passes or above in English and Maths
· Desire to work collaboratively with class teachers
· Experience in a Special needs setting is desirable
· Conscientious, reliable, hard-working and be able to work on your own initiative as well as being able to support the team.
