SEND Teaching Assistant - Islington Primary School

Are you a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive primary school?

SANZA Teaching Agency is working with a one-and-a-half-form entry primary school in the London Borough of Islington, supporting them in finding an exceptional SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The Role:
  • Hours: 08:00 am - 4:00 pm (Monday to Friday)
  • Start Date: March/April 2025
  • Pay: £95 - £105 per day (PAYE)
  • Contract: Long-term placement with potential for extension into September

This is a full-time role, where the successful candidate will:

  • Support the breakfast club in the morning.
  • Work within the SEND Unit, supporting pupils from Year 1 to Year 6.
  • Deliver engaging interventions to support learning, subject knowledge, and raise attainment.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience working within a school setting.
  • Strong skills in supporting pupils with SEND (Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language needs, etc.).
  • Experience in EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
  • A proactive, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children.
