Sports Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a Sports- Based Teaching Assistant for this permanent and full time position to work with children. To take part in Physical Education classes, sports and health, fitness coaching.
A BA degree qualification in sports studies or physical education would be desirable from UK or overseas and previous experience working with children. But would also suit someone that is recent University Graduate has a interest in fitness, health and wellbeing and enjoys working with children.
Starting salary: £21,000- £22, 000pa + excellent further training and career progression opportunities, 12 weeks paid holidays.
Job Description:
Include working with children alongside and assisting Class Teacher, Planning and implementing sports, fitness, health and well -being, creative and learning activities, playing games with children, participating in physical education classes, ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times. Following health and safety policies and procedures, carrying out observations of children and development. Supervising play and assisting with reading and literacy classes, interacting parents and updating them on child's day.
