Specialist Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Location: Tower HamletsPayscale: £90-105 per dayDuration: Long-term to PermanentStart Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about supporting children with behavioral needs? We are looking for a dedicated and resilient Specialist Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join our team and make a meaningful difference in a KS2 setting in Tower Hamlets.

Role Details:

  • Preferred Qualifications: Team Teach or MAPA (Management of Actual or Potential Aggression) qualification.
  • Experience: Working with children who may display physical behaviors.
  • Skills: Calm, patient, and resourceful in challenging situations.
  • Communication: Strong relationship-building skills to support the child's development and foster a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and other staff to implement behavior management strategies.
