Are you passionate about making a difference in the life of a child with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Kensington and Chelsea, conveniently located near Gloucester Road Station.

As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a child in Year 4 who has autism, providing tailored one-to-one support to help them thrive in their learning environment. Your role will involve supporting their academic development, promoting social interaction, and ensuring their inclusion within the classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as a Teaching Assistant to support the child's individual learning needs.
  • Implement strategies to support their communication and social skills.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher, SENCO, and other professionals to create a positive learning experience.
  • Encourage independence and confidence in the child's daily school activities.
