An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Tooting, SW17. This role is focused on providing 1:1 support and leading small group interventions in a Year 4 class.

Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Year 4 class teacher to support pupils' learning and development.
  • Provide tailored 1:1 support to a pupil, adapting strategies to meet their individual needs.
  • Lead small group interventions to support literacy, numeracy, and other key skills.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, feeding back to the class teacher and parents where necessary.
