Reeson Education are currently looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to start within a lovely SEN School situated in the borough of Brent.
We are looking for someone to support a PMLD, Key Stage 2 class to start immediately.
What does being a Teaching Assistant entail within an SEN School?
- Working 1:1 or in small groups
- Reporting on individual progress
- Liaising with parents
- Managing Challenging Behaviour
- Using PECS
As a teaching assistant within this school, it will be your role to manage the child's behaviour, monitor the progression of the students, liaise with the teacher and parents etc.
I am looking for someone who shows enthusiasm and a passion with working with SEN. As a TA you will be working with a fantastic support network in addition to incredible resources. This school is rated Outstanding by Ofsted, holds approximately 300 students aged between 4 - 19.
As a Teaching Assistant within this school you will be working with children that have profound and multiple learning difficulties. It is important to note that this role will include administering medication, personal care and manual handling and hoist.
This role is Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.45 and therefore we are only looking for applications from those who are available full time.
