As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with students with autism, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. • Support children with autism on a one-to-one or small group basis, helping them access the curriculum effectively.
• Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver learning activities that cater to the individual needs of students.
• Assist with classroom management and provide a safe, structured environment for students to flourish.
• Promote social skills and emotional well-being through supportive interactions and positive reinforcement.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.

We are looking for a teaching assistant who:

• Has experience working with children with autism or other special educational needs (SEN).
• Is patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting children with diverse learning needs.
• Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Can work effectively as part of a team to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Holds relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, SEN training) or is willing to undergo training.
