Teaching Assistant | KS1 & KS2 Support | Tooting Bec, Wandsworth (SW17) | Immediate Start | £95 - £105 per day
Long Term Futures is seeking an experienced and qualified Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Tooting Bec, Wandsworth (SW17). This role will involve supporting students across both KS1 and KS2, as well as providing tailored SEN support where required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in KS1 and KS2, assisting with both academic and personal development
- Work closely with teachers to implement lesson plans and deliver interventions where necessary
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with SEN, helping them stay engaged and progress in their learning
- Adapt learning materials to cater to different abilities and learning styles
- Assist with behaviour management, ensuring a positive and structured learning environment
- Collaborate with the SENCo and class teachers to develop personalised support plans
As a Teaching Assistant you will have:
- Previous experience working in a primary school, particularly in KS1 and KS2
- Experience supporting students with SEN (ASD, ADHD, ADD)
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3) is desirable
- A proactive and adaptable approach to classroom support
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Additional Information:
- Full-time role, Monday to Friday
- Paid £95 - £105 per day, term time only
- Based in Tooting Bec, Wandsworth (SW17), with excellent transport links
- Immediate start, with potential for a long-term placement
