The school is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 2:1 support for a young boy in Year 3 who requires additional assistance with his learning and behaviour. Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:- Provide 2:1 support to a Year 3 pupil, helping them remain engaged and focused in class.
- Assist with the pupil's social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Implement tailored learning strategies in collaboration with the SENCO and class teacher.
- Foster a nurturing and structured environment to encourage positive learning experiences.
- Adapt activities to meet the child's individual needs, ensuring inclusion in all lessons.
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with SEN or behavioural needs.
- Confidence in managing challenging behaviours and supporting emotional regulation.
- A patient, understanding, and proactive approach.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
