Responsibilities for the SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Creating a supportive, inclusive environment that helps the student succeed.
- Using visual and sensory-based approaches to support engagement and reduce anxiety.
- Collaborating with the class teacher and staff to meet the child's EHCP targets.
- Documenting and reporting the student's progress to tailor ongoing support.
- Helping manage behaviour through positive reinforcement strategies.
