Academics are currently working this brilliant 2 form entry Primary school in Wandsworth to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, to join their happy team. This Teaching Assistant role requires someone who has a good class room practice and excellent communication skills. The Year 5 class you will be supporting has 2 children with SEN that need extra support at different times of the day and then will also require to work as a general class support for the rest of the day. This role will need you to be flexible, enthusiastic and be willing to work alongside the rest of the KS2 team to make sure that their children get the best possible education.

The school is very well known in the borough for excellent academic and pastoral progress, with children leaving the school in Year 6 with results well above the national average. The school has a very supportive Senior Leadership Team who offer practical support and regular CPD sessions for their team. The successful teaching assistant will be working alongside a very experienced class teacher who teaches a bubbly, well behaved year 5 class. To be part of this teaching team you will need to be Level 3 qualified or have a degree and at least 1 year experience working in a Primary, Secondary or SEN school setting.
