Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:- Provide one-to-one and small-group support for Year 6 pupils with SEMH and Autism.
- Assist in managing behaviour positively and creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Work closely with the class teacher to implement tailored strategies for students with additional needs.
- Be proactive and take initiative in identifying and meeting the needs of individual pupils.
- Support the class as a whole when required, ensuring a smooth and productive learning experience.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary setting, particularly with SEMH, Autism, and behaviour challenges.
- Confident, resilient, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A nurturing approach, combined with strong behaviour management skills and the ability to engage pupils effectively.
- Able to step in and provide immediate, meaningful support to pupils and staff.
- Holds an Enhanced DBS or is willing to process one through Reeson Education.
