A delightful primary school located near Sloane Square in the vibrant borough of Kensington and Chelsea is seeking to appoint a CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team.

This welcoming school is dedicated to creating an inclusive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for all students. The school community is comprised of enthusiastic pupils, supportive staff, and strong partnerships with parents and carers. With a commitment to fostering excellent learners, the school offers a diverse, well-rounded, and creative curriculum.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Reception class teacher and become an integral part of a dedicated team. This school provides a warm and welcoming environment for both students and staff alike and offers support and guidance with clear career progression.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • A qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE Level 3) is essential, along with previous experience working within a nursery or classroom.
  • Strong knowledge of child development and effective strategies to promote learning.
  • Sensitivity to the individual needs of children and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Experience working with special needs children on a one-to-one basis and running intervention groups is highly desirable.
  • Candidates should demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, and possess excellent literacy and numeracy skills.

Requirements:

  • Must have NCFE CACHE Level 3 certificate in Childcare and Education
  • Enthusiasm for working with children and supporting their educational development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and varied work environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
