GSL Education London Branch is looking for a dedicated Cover Teacher (Science) to join a vibrant team at a client secondary school in Haringey. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in students' lives.
What You'll Do as a Cover Teacher:
- Deliver dynamic and engaging science lessons to students.
- Support the teaching and learning of science across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to student needs.
- Provide individual or small group support to enhance students' understanding of scientific concepts.
- Monitor and report on student progress, offering feedback to teachers and parents.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.
What We're Looking For in a Cover Teacher Role:
- Experience as a Cover Teacher (Science) or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of the science curriculum and effective teaching methods.
- Ability to teach and support students at KS3, KS4, and KS5 levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
