ROLE: EXTRA CARE MANAGER
LOCATION: Camden, London
SALARY: Starting at 46,900 per annum
HOURS: 37.5 hours per week
We, at Coben Healthcare, are excited to support a Leading Nationwide Care Company who put their employees at the heart of what they do; a true family which is then reflected in the quality of care provided across their Care Homes for the elderly, Specialist dementia units, MH Units and more.
You will be based out of a unique, modern, Extra Care service in partnership with Camden Council in London for people over 55 years. With 35 apartments, a staffed café and even a hairdressing salon, you will feel part of the family with the support received by your own and the community care teams.

About You:
- You will hold or be working towards your NVQ Level 5 in Management
- Have had previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager in Extra Care or Supported Living services
- Have a strong knowledge of person-centred care
- Experience of working closely with service users, assessing their needs and delivering care that helps each person to live a fuller life
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Utilise authentic leadership, role modelling and inspirational skills to motivate the team to deliver excellent quality of care
- Be the person in charge responsible for the day-to-day running of the Service with 24-hour responsibility for the care of the Service Users.
- Manage the effective use of resources, including the financial performance of the Service, and maintain high levels of occupancy.
- Provide improvement, independence and choice for Service Users.
- Comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times and in particular the CQC.
- Provide appropriate levels of care and support to ensure that personal hygiene needs are met, (washing, dressing, bathing, using the toilet);
- It is essential to be Health and Safety aware, to ensure the safety of our services users and colleagues.
