The Role & Responsibilities
- Establishing and developing the design of engineering solutions and systems
- Preparing concept plans and briefs for projects
- Producing reports in support of the design concepts with regard to compliance with standards and best practice
- Liaising with others in the design team and CAD team.
- Inspecting installations and reviewing progress quality and performance tests
- Supporting the design team and client with regard to operation and ongoing maintenance
- Preparing detail design project specifications
- Participating in client and project meetings
- Reporting to clients on progress and project related items
- Carry out or review electrical design calculations
Skills Required
- You should be educated to degree level in electrical engineering, building services engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years UK industry experience.
- Project experience preferred within several market sectors.
- To be competent in the use of industry design and drawing software.
