Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

My client, a global manufacturing business is looking for an experienced maintenance engineer to join their engineering function. This position offers on-going training, development for staff & continuous investment into the facility.

Reactive and proactive engineering at a 24/7 production site, ensuring minimum downtime. Working on continuous improvement projects, and to a safe manner in line with Health & Safety procedures. This a great position for an enthusiastic multi-skilled maintenance engineer.


Role Description
* Electrical and Mechanical PPM's, Reactive & Breakdown maintenance
* Working within a Skilled Team
* Reporting into the Maintenance Manager
* Maintenance one automated pack lines, plastic injection moulding machines and all associated ancillary equipment
* To contribute to kaizen projects working cross functionally
* Machine installations
* Lots of internal & external training and development opportunities
* Adhering to Health & Safety on site at all times

Skills and Qualifications
* Time-Served, Apprenticeship trained with Level 3/HNC electrical qualifications
* Strong Background within Packaging, FMCG, Food or Plastic manufacturing. With a clear understanding of PM schedules
* Fault finding ability both Electrically & Mechanically
* Motivated to work in a team environment
* Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, PLC's, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Knowledge of Kaizen, Six Sigma and 5S, Continuous Improvement Methods
* Proven experience and drive to work in a fast-paced environment
