THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
This organisation is seeking a Senior Engineer to drive transformation and mentor fellow engineers within their team, ensuring excellence in engineering practices. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will lead and manage comprehensive mechanical designs for projects of various scales at our firm.
- Lead full Mechanical Design across projects, emphasizing client satisfaction.
- Ensure quality control for Mechanical Engineering projects across all locations.
- Manage project costs effectively.
- Lead project teams and collaborate across different functions within the organization.
- Travel to client sites as needed for meetings, surveys, and training.
- Collaborate with other offices as required.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Minimum Degree level in Mechanical Engineering
- 6 + years Building Services Consultancy Design experience.
- Proven track record in delivering detailed designs throughout the design cycle.
- Expertise in Mechanical design areas such as Water Services, HVAC, and Building Management Systems.
- Deep knowledge of relevant building regulations and their application in design.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership skills with a collaborative approach.
- Ability to make timely project decisions with attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness and excellent interpersonal skills.
