Key Responsibilities:Inspection and Testing: Regularly inspect and test electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify potential issues or signs of wear and tear. This includes checking wiring, circuits, outlets, switches, and control panels.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems when they occur. This involves using electrical testing equipment like multi meters to identify faults and determine the best course of action for repairs.Repairs and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on electrical systems and equipment. This may include replacing faulty wiring, switches, outlets, or circuit breakers. Maintenance electricians ensure that electrical components are in good working condition to prevent breakdowns.Upgrades and Installations: Install, upgrade, or modify electrical systems and equipment as needed. This could involve installing new circuits, outlets, or lighting fixtures, as well as upgrading existing systems to meet changing requirements or safety standards.Electrical Safety: Enforce and adhere to safety procedures and regulations to prevent electrical hazards. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all electrical work, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks. Proper documentation helps in tracking the history of electrical systems and ensures compliance with regulations.Emergency Response: Be available for emergency repairs and respond quickly to electrical issues that pose an immediate threat to safety or the operation of a facility.
