Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
Pay: £22.00-£25.00ph paid weekly via umbrella - No CIS/LTD
Notes: Must hold full UK drivers license. Successful applicants will need to have a DBS check carried out
Duties
- Carrying out reactive repair work in our residents’ homes and communal areas.
- Ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with Electricity at Work Regulations and BS 7671 18th Edition
- Testing and certifying work carried out in accordance with current IET Wiring Regulations.
- Where necessary, ensure Health & Safety working practices which are essential to ensure the safety of both tenants and operatives, are always implemented.
- Be responsible for safeguarding test instruments and other equipment issued.
- Safeguard, maintain, replenish, and keep records of electrical materials issued for van stock.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience of reactive repairs within a social housing/residential setting.
- Have the skills to inspect, test, install, maintain and repair electrical installations.
- Have the capability to complete electrical certification/reports for the type of work being undertaken.
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills
- City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 / 2330 Level 2 & 3, AM2 & NVQ level 3.
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2392/2394 & 2395 (or to show competence in Inspection & Testing).
- City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition.
- A Full UK Driving License
