AR683 – Electrician (Commercial)Location: Greenwich, LondonSalary: £40,000 - £50,000 Overview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer on behalf of our clients. This role is all about preventative testing and is largely carried out on live services.This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a different challenge to ordinary electrician roles, with full training provided. This role would suit ex-military personnel however, candidates from all backgrounds will be considered.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carrying out preventative testing on live services.
- Provide ultrasound, power and vibration analysis to customers.
- You will be working a variety of hours including weekends, out of hours and occasionally working away.
- Work safely and efficiently to ensure all preventative work is carried out in compliance with company policy and Health & Safety standards.
- Complete and file paperwork relevant to each job.
- Diagnose and resolve any faults.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified electrician with up to date qualifications.
- TEGG experience desirable
- Installation experience of LV distribution systems.
- A methodical and calm approach to work is essential.
- A background in maintenance would be desirable.
- A flexible approach to working is essential as there will be weekend hours, out of hours and working away.
- Ideally living in Essex or North East London.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Thermal imaging, ultrasound, PQA and Vibration analysis would be desirable however full training will be provided for the right candidate.
