- Undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems throughout the building.
- Carry out electrical fault-finding, testing, and inspection on systems including lighting, fire alarms, emergency lighting, and power distribution boards.
- Perform routine testing, including electrical inspection and condition reports (EICR) in line with current regulations.
- Repair or replace electrical components and wiring, ensuring full compliance with relevant standards.
- Ensure compliance with 18th Edition wiring regulations (BS 7671) and health & safety protocols.
- Conduct regular site inspections, record findings, and complete relevant compliance paperwork accurately.
- Support the wider engineering team and collaborate on wider building services tasks when required.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong working relationships.
- Identify and suggest opportunities for energy savings and system improvements.
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installations (City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent) - Essential.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification - Essential.
- Proven experience working as a Maintenance Electrician within commercial building environments.
- Strong experience in fault finding, testing, inspection, and electrical maintenance.
- Experience maintaining and repairing lighting systems, alarms, power distribution boards, emergency lighting, and control panels.
- Sound understanding of health & safety procedures, compliance regulations, and safe working practices.
- Good communication skills and professional, client-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and as part of a team.
- Competitive salary - £43,000 - £47,000
- Monday to Friday working pattern (08:00 - 17:00).
