- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in electronics design and development.
- Design and develop electronic circuits and systems, including analogue, digital, and mixed signal circuits. Conduct circuit simulations and analysis using software tools to ensure proper functionality and performance prior to manufacture.
- Create PCB layouts and design multilayer boards using software tools.
- Create wiring diagrams and layouts for instrument electronics and generate BOMs.
- Experience with STM32-based microcontrollers, embedded C/C++ using IAR IDE, and Python.
- Good understanding of transducers and sensor applications in instrumentation.
- Use of ADC and DAC components in low-noise, high-precision applications.
- Interfacing analogue circuits with microprocessors, bus-controlled devices, I2C, SPI, USB, Bluetooth, and TCP/IP.
- Knowledge of EMC best practices for CE compliance, including compliance with the EMC Directive and Low Voltage Directive.
- Hands-on fault finding and diagnostics skills.
- Assemble electronic prototypes, perform functional testing, and verify performance against design specifications. Troubleshoot issues and suggest design improvements as necessary.
- Develop test plans and procedures for electronic systems. Perform various tests, including electrical, functional, environmental, and reliability tests, to ensure compliance with specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Create technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, test reports, and production guidelines. Maintain accurate records of design changes, test results, and project progress. Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems is desirable.
- Quality assurance and compliance: Ensure that electronic systems and components meet quality standards, safety regulations, and relevant certifications. Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
