Key Responsibilities:
- Support the IT Network Manager in maintaining and developing the school's IT infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, including Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and Google Admin Console.
- Manage access to resources and ensure security compliance, including data protection and GDPR.
- Provide classroom support, ensuring ICT equipment is available and operational for lessons and events.
- Maintain hardware and software inventory and assist with equipment installations and repairs.
- Monitor backup systems and disaster recovery procedures.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft client and server systems, networking, virtualisation (preferably VMware), and other relevant technologies.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls, and content filtering systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Knowledge of Apple software, Google Admin Console, and BYOD management is desirable
