Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the IT Network Manager in maintaining and developing the school's IT infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, including Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and Google Admin Console.
  • Manage access to resources and ensure security compliance, including data protection and GDPR.
  • Provide classroom support, ensuring ICT equipment is available and operational for lessons and events.
  • Maintain hardware and software inventory and assist with equipment installations and repairs.
  • Monitor backup systems and disaster recovery procedures.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft client and server systems, networking, virtualisation (preferably VMware), and other relevant technologies.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls, and content filtering systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Knowledge of Apple software, Google Admin Console, and BYOD management is desirable
