Role
Working Mon-Fri from their Piccadilly Circus offices, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join their innovative SaaS product team. Their ideal candidate will be pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of their software solutions through state-of-the-art automation testing techniques.
Responsibilities
Develop and Maintain Automated Test Scripts: Create and manage automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Integration with CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to facilitate rapid and reliable software releases.
Cross-Platform Testing: Execute automated tests for web, mobile (iOS and Android), and API applications to ensure platform consistency and performance.
Test Case Management: Document and manage test cases, ensuring alignment with functional requirements and business goals.
Bug Reporting and Tracking: Identify, report, and track bugs, working closely with their development team to ensure timely resolutions.
Performance and Load Testing: Conduct performance and load tests to ensure system scalability and reliability under various conditions.
Risk-Based Testing: Utilize risk-based testing methods to prioritize testing efforts and enhance overall test effectiveness.
Quality Metrics Analysis: Analyse test results, generate reports, and provide insights on software quality and test coverage.
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA automation, preferably within a SaaS framework.
Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Katalon, TestComplete, etc.
Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or Groovy.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
ISTQB Certification or equivalent is a plus.
Experience in e-commerce or related industries is highly desirable.
